Want to know what AI actually says about you?
We'll ask ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude ten questions your shoppers ask, through each one's API with web search on (directly or through our data provider, DataForSEO), then email you which stores they named, whether your site came up, and the 5 fixes we'd make first. During the beta we run these reports in batches, so allow a few days.
What we check
Each check follows Shopify's guidance on what AI platforms and Shopify Catalog consider. You get a percentage per check, plain "X of N products" lines, and the three fixes we'd make first.
Barcodes
Whether every variant has a GTIN, UPC or ISBN. If most of your variants have none, as is normal for items you make or label yourself (unless most of your products carry other brands' names), the check is marked optional and left out of your score.
Product type, vendor and tags
Whether each product has a type, a vendor (brand) and at least one tag.
Variant option names
Whether products with variants name their options, like Size or Color, instead of "Title" or "Option1".
Description depth
Whether descriptions run at least 100 words and include specifics such as materials, sizes and measurements.
Image descriptions
Whether product images have alt text of their own. Alt text that only repeats the product title doesn't count.
Store policies and structured data
Whether refund, shipping, privacy and terms pages are published, and whether a product page states price, stock, brand and barcode in its hidden product data. Review ratings are shown but not scored.
Where the data comes from
Your store's public product list and product data files, one product page and your policy pages, the same data any visitor can see. If your store hides its product list, we read the products linked from your homepage instead.
How to read it
These are our own checks of public data, not a Google ranking and not a promise of a spot in AI answers. The installed app reads your full catalog, including collections, so it sees more than this check can.
